Thanks man, no patty eating, those were left alone, no nurses either. This one took a nice stinky oily AJ head.

Luis, it was 8'6" but a very chunky one. If I would have gone over the hump and lowered her tail maybe a few inches more.

I left this one out.

since i havent posted on here in about a year and herb hasnt put our report up i reckon ill do it....

tuesday 7\14 hit the beach for a couple hours had 2 cut offs and then a run on my 14\0 set the hook and fought it all the way to the wash and the hook came out of his mouth....


thursday 7\16 back to the beach for a few hours, put the baits out and started the waiting game... a couple hours in and were all busy bs-ing (ya'll know how it is waiting for a hit) and in the middle of his story herbert starts yelling "your rod, your rod" i look to see it cruising down the beach towards the water. we run to it but by the time we get there its already in the water and i think its gone, but then i see it about five feet out and dive in and grab it, turns out the line had got hooked by the hooks on the harness strap and that why it never went off.. but anyhow i dive on top of it and come out the water setting the hook and after a quick fight we get this little guy on the beach... not what were looking for but its points on the board.... Btw our photographer was sleeping during the whole thing so no pics of the diving or fighting it in the water

Quick thank you to Tommy, Herbert and all the anglers of this tournament. When I started it back in the day, I never thought my brain child would get as big as it has gotten. Wish I had more time to help run it. On that note, I thank you Tommy and Herbert for taking it in the direction you guys have. The tagging of these many sharks alone is an invaluable resource to research. And to think it is all done from shore! No fancy boats, no dead sharks being weighed in at the marinas. A BEAUTIFUL thing! Tommy thanks for keeping to your word when you told me you wanted to take it over when I could not run it anymore. You and Herbert have kept it true as to what it was, is and will be. You have my continued support, keep doing as you guys are doing, this tournament has NO equal! And Anglers, keep representing the sport as you have been.

You are welcome Gio, it is my pleasure to continue with the tourney. The idea you started and we have continued is a BEAUTIFUL thing indeed, especially with the tagging and promoting of catch and release only. This is not easy to run but I help doing it because I love to see the show continue. Hopefully next year we will have enough funds to purchase our own tags.We might accomplish it through the selling of t-shirts and other items. TEAM LOCKED DRAG
Lost several sharks due to cut off and braid exploding when a Bull Shark hit your bait at warp speed. I have never seen that before. Manage to land a few. Maybe this will be good enough to get in Tommy's video.
