We understand why you do it Zeb. But why do other people go ape shlt for? When one person catch one at Anglins the entire pier runs to that spot. Rob762, Janet, and a few others do this. It is a overrated fish. I've heard they make great shark bait for spinners and blacktips. This year Im planning to use Permit carcass for the shark tourney. Sharks love them Jacks.

Dude, I laff every time someone catches one and the entire pier runs to that exact spot. Pompano do not sit still to begin with. They surely are not a stray Cobe browsing the pier. And even funnier are these people that go out and buy all this stuff, spending lots of $$ to catch 6 fish, that is small, and a Jack.
