I would have loved some coffee but you guys parked at the OTHER end of the bridge from where we started to clean!!!!!
I will bring coffee but since I am fishing the night before, its gonna be all gone or ice cold by the time you get there!!

There should be gloves there Rory but you can bring your own. Bring a 5 gallon bucket to carry garbage. Home Depot sells the garbage claws pick up a few for you and your girl. Do what you have to do to make your girl happy being at the clean up. Please wear the correct shoes when doing the clean up. No sandals please. Also, bring a first aid kit, neosporn, and hand clean agent that does not require water.

I've decide Im not fishing this weekend at the Keys. This cold front is lingering too long. Im planning to hit the boat show this weekend with WhoDey or something.

We had a good clean up. Most of us work the south side of Channel 2 and what a difference. Thanks for all the people who showed up. Also, one of Fishnfool's friend from Florida Sportmans forum came out. Tell him thank you. Much appreicated. Again thank you Tommy and Elly.

Went to Worldwide Sportsman aka BPS at the bait shop. The guy who works there asked if I had caught a lot of fish since it was my second appearence there that day. I had told him about our forum and the clean up we do every month at channel 2. The man smile and thank us for doing that. I smile back and im glad people does appreciated our efforts. Next clean up Im going to make a pit shop and drop off flyers there and both Starbucks.

Slow day of fishing. A lot of short grovers and tails. Karen caught a nice Hogfish and I caught a spinner shark and lost a permit or tarpon at sunset.

Had a good time, thanks for everyone for coming out...Bolo, Karen, Melissa and I had a good time fishing in the afternoon, Bolo got to hear his Van Staal sing with that spinner shark, it was bigger then it looks in that picture, probably 40-50 lbs. My girlfriend Melissa had a good time and caught her first saltwater fish, she got flatlining for grovers down to a science before long and caught way too many skipjacks for me to unhook. And I'm still on my quest for a hogfish.
