Well I wasnt able to make it due to my son being sick, so Tommy and I wanted to see how we can still do this. we have 2 poss options

option 1 wait till the next bbq and make it a huge raffle

Option 2 Hold the raffle on the forum adding to the quality of the raffle prize with more people being able to join.

as it sits we have a custom Linesider built rod and a reel TBD. the reel that goes with the rod is determened by the amount of entries. it will be a 4000 series rod making the combo surf ready

please post your input.

winner online will be picked by a random name generator app

I'm up for either one. I think the bbq would be awesome though. Maybe a tournament the month before and one the day of it.

Do it now. A year's a long time for that pole to sit around unused.

PS: Phil, hope your kid is ok now.

I checked yesterday on the other Pavilion that is on the beach and close to the Jetty and it is not available until July 26th. I really want the one on the beach because the kids will have a blast. But we could do another BBQ before at the same pavilion.

or we could all meet up on a bridge and just raffle there or use as a prize for a bridge tourney..

It's sweet...but look how many dropped out at the last min in pretty much in the middle of the town sort of speak. Max 30-40+mile from either direction. Now having them ride down 100+ mile it's not gonna happen..... Im telling ya its hard putting these things together so show your support and show up...Of course there are situation that you cant

I'm with Rare on his one. Although most of the guys that couldn't make it at the last minute are solid players on the forum and don't need to explain anything to a anybody. Poop happens. It's just so noticeable when any of the big personalities are missing right? Short of that..............if you enjoy hanging around Boatless I think..........if it's at all possible..........it's more to an fair for us to expect participation at some of our events. Of course, only if it's possible and not disruptive to family because it's on weekends. That's all
