Raffles for the bbq

Post by gdm phil »

just wanted to get some input from you guys on what you want for a raffle. we have approx 100-150 left in funds from the last bbq.

Last time it was the Avet sx would everyone want another reel for the raffle? or maybe a rod?

I was thinking of putting in a half day fishing charter on me with all expenses paid as well

Reel or rod both sound good. one thing I was thinking would be cool would be a sabiki setup.

Not another Avet???????? Common' brother Phil the only reason that kid Shos kicks my a$$ at Dania is cause of the Avet he sports while I'm still stuck using my $2 yoyo. I was only hanging around here for another shot at that reel.

How about a different LD reel like a Penn Fathom or Okuma Metaloid?

I nominate Linesider to make a bad ass rod for it ;-) I love the man's rods!!! (no homo? :eye: )

But really, I am happy with whatever, the main attraction is seeing everyone, rest is a bonus.

Well at the last BBQ the raffle 'bonus' cost me sixty bucks and the only thing I walked away with was a cheesy Mustad hat that Roy gave me out of pity because I got skunked. The brim fell off the second time I wore it lol.

I'm tossing my vote in with Juan. A Linesider custom is a great prize and will definitely bring in the yay-o. Maybe either a rod or a dollar credit that can be applied toward having another rod built by Linesider.........your choice. Let's support our local vendors :auto: :auto: :auto:
