Re: Jeopardy
Being that it's apenny struck on a nickel blank that would make it past extremely rare someone had to have stolen it out of the mint to get one usually I'd say on a guess less than 5 or so around if that.

Re: Jeopardy
Stealing from the mint would be an accomplishment in itself lol imo an employee prob sold it to that guy to make a thick wad of cash. Def a one of a kind but idk I think he priced it too high, its 125k higher than any other mistruck coin I doubt it will sell there maybe at auction house.

People pay crazy prices for coins. look at the flowing haired silver dallor that sold for 4 million.

Not sure how well coins hold their value as art does but it's an investment. Art basel here in our home town; the amount of money that goes through there is insane. Not including the back hand shake deals.

Re: Jeopardy
Yea that one was sold at auction house, a flowing hair on eBay is like 12 grand lol like I said the mistruck coin would do much better at auction. Rare coins almost always do better at auction my dad was into them and paper money for a while.phillybass wrote:People pay crazy prices for coins. look at the flowing haired silver dallor that sold for 4 million.
