Hey all.... Lately I have been finding both palmetto and small roaches in my apartment.... I get the exterminator come by once a month, but its so sudden... Been here over 14 months, and never had a problem... 3rd floor, pretty clean, actually cleaner than avg... I even close drains at bite (showers and sinks). Should I "bomb"? Does that work? Any ideas? Tnx

Spray that around all of your suspected entry points about once a week, and any cracks or crevices where they might normally hide.

I use it around the door frames outside to keep mosquitoes from flying in my door at night when I enter. I also have an outside laundry room on my patio. It houses palmetto bugs, mosquitoes, and spiders and whatnot. A bit of this and everything is dead for a while in there.

Tested to be pretty safe too. Just don't huff it.

Assuming your in an apartment and you keep a clean house.

Since your seeing small roaches "baby's" there's a nest and only the baby's are getting in.

What i mean by "in" is your neighbors have a major roach problem. And the lil ones are traveling over.

Call your land lord and tell him that...and or ask your exterminator about what i said.

the best and cheapest method for florida roaches are the gels from any of the reputable companies, you can get them at home depot or lowes, almost anywhere, the gels are great because they keep the death toll ringing when the roaches go back to the nest, die, the others eat them, then they die, etc.... it keeps going.. I only have to do it once or twice a year and no crazy fumes from chemicals that will kill me either.

Gels are the best!

I second the neighbor thing. Thats what happens in an apartment complex. You never really know whats going on next door or above you or below you. The little ones are they baby american roaches or german roaches? Do not let the germans get a foot hold.
Ive had nasty neighbors in apartments before that had bad infestations, I would bomb anytime they would seep over from there dump. Inform the landlord and get the pest control guy out right away.

i 3rd the next door neibor!!! we used to live in apartments and had to keep on top of then or they would invade, and they were comeing from bottom floor across the way almost 100 feet , we think the lady feed them as pets or something ,every time we seen pestcontrol she refused them

I use a poison called Demon which you can get on the web. It is powder that you mix with water - it is 40% strength poison. Leaves a residue that kills bugs - dead. You can't buy it in a store. You spray it indoors and out and it won't be long before you start seeing bugs laying stomach up.
