Yeah been watching them the last few day's. I'll never get used to the niose they make. I was out in the back yard with my grandson and they went over, scared the bejesus out of the kid. I thought to myself, wow imagine the kid's living in Bagdad or Kabul. they either live in fear or don't notice it anymore.

I'd been a couple times years ago, shoot I thought 6 years ago was the last year, Mc Donalds pulled out or something like that. It was a good time the times I went for sure.

Depends where you grow up I guess. I was born in VA, surrounded by NAS Oceana, Langly AFB, etc. we heard it all the time, eventually you dial it out...

That is until they accidentally pop off a few sonic booms and scare the crud outta you...... ;)

I remember in grade school we'd hear em allot. Back when O'Hare was still a fighter base there were F-4's, star fighters and a few others that would Kaboom Chicago all the time. Kinda hard on windows.

We were 35 miles out of Hatteras inlet when I was a teen ager and 4 F-14's came off supersonic flight over our heads and started dogfighting over the detectors out there.. The boom, boom, boom, boom 'bout did my 18 yr old heart in.... Sonic booms are amazing.. :)

It's back again this year, was gone for four years due to no sponsors. I remember when I was a kid 30 some years ago we had the Blue Angels fly over once or twice a year doing the formations and patterns til one had crashed then we didn't see them again until the Air and Sea Show started up again in Fort Lauderdale. Glad to have them back!!! Love hearing and watching them..
