That is correct, Anthony
We will watch and see if we call them both or just the Mullet run.
Wierd run so far - not one HUGE school from what I see / hear so far.

Repeat of the same today - I have in my cooler now Muttons, Mangroves, 1 nice Kingfish ( I just pulled in the Big Baits, could not keep up with the bottom rod and the gotcha as well)and a few Big Mackeral as well as 3 decent Bluefish for the smoker ( Threw all the rest back )..

EPIC bite this Am before work with nothing HUGE, but many many pods of mullett getting smashed as they passed.

Stormrunner thanks for the heads up !

I predict the mullet run will happen 10/20-21/09.

This is a strange mullet run. I would have thought the run was that 2 to 3 mile long conga line of mullet the other day but I hear there is more to come. Can't wait. Fort Laud beach has a few white baits and lost mullet nothing special right now.

Finger mullet schools are in the intercoastal in Boca getting blown up by snook, tarpon and small jacks. I caught two jacks on topwater earlier and saw either a really big snook or a tarpon blow up the school.

OK since the last report the mullet are still copming by the Pier ANGLINS.

Today saw another BIG School and small ones every day. but on average we have been seeing a couple of large schools everyday at some point though out the day since the 2 to 3 mile school and the 8 mile one I saw the next day I said 5 but really it was like 8 to 10 miles lone and I am not joking.

My reports were in this thread
http://boatlessfishing.com/forum/viewto ... =2&t=15817

The only difference with the schools the last few days is they had lots of predators in them, Tarpon, Snook and Blacktips or yea Hammerheads. Blues are still think at times and the macks have been solid in the Mornings.

I would go to the Everglades Inlet and fish the north side at the jetty I would bet the Snook and tarpon are on fire there.

So I will say the Mullet run started on the 19 of October for Broward
The winner is ???? I have to go through it and find them

Will go today after work up the little river at about 79th and Biscayne Blvd. Right there they are boiling like rice in a pot.
