closes at 9. and when i went they opened a lil early at 6:30 because there was already a long line of people

i think that timing thing is good. doesnt put 24hr pressure on the resident fish i guess. kinda like bill baggs in dade!

PERMIT AND COBIA BEEN PRETTY HOT THIS WEEK YESTERDAY 2 COBIA 30LB AND 15LB ALSO A 6LB KINGFISH. TODAY 5/21/09 31 AND 43LB COBIA'S AND A 27LB PERMIT. THIS ALL RELIABLE INFO MY FATHER IN LAW WORKS THERE AND IS TAKING PICS OF ALL THE FISH HE SEE'S AND PUTTING THEM UP THERE. I'M HEADED TOMMOROW MORINING. YOU GUYS WAITING ON SHIRTS STILL WORKING ON IT HAVEN'T FORGOT.

P.S. WILLIE HOWARD WITH THE PB POST IS REPORTING THE INFO I GIVE HIM IN THE FISHING REPORTS ON TUESDAY AND FRIDAY'S. aLSO EARLIER IN THE WEEK 3 OTHER PERMITS CAUGHT B/W 20 AND 30 LBS.

that's some good news to here at lake worth pier. only one thing, word of mouth will spread causing the crowd to get massive threw out the week.

I'm not worry. Most of them don't know how to fish for them. With all this rain it will drive the googans away.

I was at the pier yesterday from 9;30am till 2pm and had 2-dozen live pilchards.Not even 1-hit and the only thing I saw coming up to the pier was a few blue runner.Clear water and no bait at all.

You must have missed the school of huge tarpon that came sight seeing. My daughter tossed in a dead shrimp that got slurped as soon as it hit, put a shrimp on a hook and they just scoffed at it. Just how do they know?

They kept teasing this guy freelining a mullet, they would charge it and turn at the last second. Prix.

It is very frustrating but thats fishing.I will wait till the wind picks up a bit and then try again.The pier looks pretty good and very clean.I hope that it will be that way for a long time.

i thrashed a like 30 lb cuda the other day at dfp on a moonie. but anyway... i heard from a fewvery reliable sources that not one but a few blackfins were caught friday at lw. can anyone confirm

I was at the pier from 8;15am till 12;30pm yesterday and that place was dead.My brother and me went to Dania pier for some bait earlier and had around 4-dozen live pilchards. Between 2-of us we caught 2-blue runner and my brother jumped a huge tarpon.Thats it.We saw a guy fighting with a 35+pound Jack for about an hour and that was it.Around 12 a big school of about 30 tarpon went by the pier and that was the most exciting thing to see all day.A few pods of bait was around the pier but not for long.

Since Lake Worth peirs been closed all the dudes fishng permit over to boyton inlet could talk about was the permit fishing over to the peir, and how they couldnt wait for it to open agian. So any permit being caught up there? Come on you can tell me Im not going all the way up there to fish.
