I heard Mowry canal has really good fishing on either side of the levee. Thinking of going out there with a sinking line some schminnows and a few bunny flies. Anyone have suggestions as to what other flies I should take? Oh btw I'm new here forgot to introduce myself, my name is Luis and I'm out from west kendall.

That sounds like a trip that has potential. I haven't been out to the C-103 (or any other canals in that area), but I'm curious to hear how it goes since people do talk about it. If the water is really moving I would bring a weighted fly. Maybe a 1/0 or 2/0 clouser?
