My dilemma

Post by byf »

I have a 10wt rod. At the moment it has weight forward floating line on it. I used to have a spare spool with 600g depth charge line. My dilemma is that somehow I misplace my spare spool as well as my chest pouch with 20+ flies. I need to replace the spare spool. What line would you recommend putting on it for this area (Daytona)? I have sink tips for my floating line. I would like to fish the inlets jettys and beaches for reds snook and tarpon. I am also looking for a simple chest pouch something with 1 compartment full of fleece. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance for any responces.

Which jetty? We have totally different conditions from one jetty to the next. I use 350gr type 6DC line at Sebastian, and 390grains of lead core at Ft. Pierce. I wouldn't want to use either one at the beach, use a floater or intermediate tip. As far as gear bags go, check out http://www.aquaskinz.com/index.php5?mode=category&top=6

Go with the teeny TS-350 integrated line, works great for the outgoing.
