Oakland Park 05/12/09

Went out off Oakland Park blvd last tuesday morning. Shot and missed yellow tail, and one mutton. Took home my first red grouper, which I nailed right at the end. Made the trip and dinner for four later.

Any weight to the Red Grouper? They taste so good.

It was 21 inch. I am not sure on the weight. I thought it was much bigger when I went at it. Usually I try not to cut it so close on the size. This was my first speared grouper so I am excited! It also tasted awesome!
