Help headed to long key

Headed to long Key. weather in lauderdale was bad. Have yak. Have cell with internet. Need to know launch place and or reef plz

i went quite a distance when i was down, and you would have to be pretty careful with boats/current. I'd advise you to try spearing the south-east side of the Bahia Honda bridge. Trying going around slack tide. I've taken some nice hogs there. Make sure you're a hundred yards or so out and dont go near the channel. Your best bet is to have the sea wall behind you, i find that even if the current is ripping it wont affect you as much.

just got back from the keys fishing. Did no spearing though. All in all it was fun

we caught like two grunts thats it lolz. We didnt do no hardcore fishing , but i plan on going down there again next month sometime if everything is ok and i plan it right this time.

We ended up not putting into the water. The weather was just no good. I did however jump into the water close to the shore. I was surprised to fin school master snapper right in the rocks on shore. None were big enough, and I wasn't spearing that close to shore, but it was cool to see them.
