So I recently bought a JBL northwest and the bands need changing... Since I am new to this I dont really know what kind of bands to buy and what size diameter and whatnot

Why not just go to a forum that is dedicated to that and will most likely answer your question best

Take an old one to Divers Direst, next door to BPS.. and/or take the gun if you don't have the old ones or think they may not be the correct size.

Or you could search, google, it and look it up... 38 special

It depends on the model. Each JBL model takes different size bands.

your could buy most bands at any dive shop for a jbl. i would upgrade the gun if you decide to spear fish often. try a rob allen or similar rail gun. the difference will be day and night. florida freedivers in palm beach can help you with anything you need

Thanks alot guys. I will probably head over to Divers Direct and have them check it out or buy bands online.
