The first one what's the cost on getting reels serviced? i have two conventional reels one is a Daiwa Sealine 47h and the other is a Shimano Triton 300 they're both older models.
And the second question does anyone want an old Penn Peer No. 209 for free? It's missing one part and its corroded in certain areas. It was given to me and i'm trying to clean up my garage by getting rid of things but i don't want to throw this away. I can post some pictures if you would like.
I have two questions on reels.

For repairs/service, you can generally figure on about $20 per reel plus any parts. You may find someone for less, but that's average for tackle shop warranty centers, etc, if the reel isn't under warranty. As for the 209, I would check to see if there is a "hooked on fishing" club or similar club for kids in your area and donate it them. If you find one, let me know and let me know what part it needs and I've probably got it. Donate the reel to charity and I'll send you the missing part as well for free.
No matter where you go, there you are!
