I've been working on a few new projects lately
9 ft 2pc mhx euro catfish 30-80lb 4-10oz Yea I know the rating is ridiculous. I would say it's more like 15-30 2-5oz

Re: A few projects
9ft 1 pc bass pro cobia rod. Completely stripped down to bare blank and rebuilt. Fuji MN alconite 40-10mm. Red mettallic Dragon scale wrap with red shrink tube handles. At first I thought the red handle looked tacky but it has grown on me. In fact I grew to like it so much that I decided to make another one in blue.
8ft 1 pc rainshadow rx7. Fuji KW 30mm collector with k single foot runners. First I did a blue/silver chevron wrap but I didn't like the way it came out. So I ended up cutting it all off (2 hours down the drain) and doing a blue metallic dragon scale wrap. Went with blue shrink tube handle. That's what I love about custom rod building. If you don't like it then you can always tear down and rebuild. There are no rules anything goes. Got it paired with a spheros 6000sw. Nice combo for light bottom rigs, freelining baits, or throwing larger lures like diamond jigs and flair hawks.
