Well I wanted to slap the guides on today with a set I still had from the U.S but unfortunatly I am 2 guides short. Thought it might just be enough but guess it was not supposed to be.
Cant get those exact guides here so I ordered a whole new set of ALPS guides in the right qty.
Will be here by Wednesday and slapped on by friday. Pic's will come with the finished product.
So far all I have to show is the buttwrap. Of course grips and reelseat already installed but boring without the whole thing. Those pics will come when it is all said and done.
Here just the buttwrap. It is a little Snowflake 2 axis in 0 and 180 degree in Blue Grey and Silver and closed with black. You see a little of the blank which is grey finish. Tieoffs are Blue Grey with a Silver JTOB (credit Jim Treelikes)
Enjoy

Blank is a 2 piece Carbonfiber - Glass composit for 3/4 to nearly 3 oz. Well 85 Gramm.
Goes 17 to 30 test but will be fished with 10 # braid or a lil higher. Tip is medium fast and action is Heavy. Builds a lot of muscle from the stripper down to the handle.
Will mostly go with DOA Shads and Flukes and lil lips x-wraps and the like.
Brand is a CMW house brand. Pretty sure it will work just fine. Quality seems to be very good.
The way you work shads over here is cast out let it sink then pull 2 foot and let it sink again. Repeat. Like slow jig just not vertical

Yeah Rod is for me. Pikes get in average 2 1/2 foot with some 3' Mixed in and if Reallohn lucky a lil over 3' and pike perch like an American Walley up to 2 3/4 Foto tops.
Redfisch or better Ocean Perch can get to 3' and some 33lb Heavy tops. Usually you get em about a foot to two in the 10 to 15lb range.
All that is here
