What do you think of the Trinidad 30A

Post by GO4EM »

I've been looking at conventional reels and I am thinking of getting the Trinidad 30A.
I want this reel for a set up for grouper/mutton/live baiting.
I like the star drag and weight of the reel.
If anyone has one or fished one... I am all ears.
I dream of a better tomorrow... where chickens can cross roads and not have their motives questioned

Good for live baiting, bridges , piers , and muttons suck for grouper. Lost 3 grouper in one trip due to sticky and slipping drags. Reel was returned. The older gold models had same issue. Great reels til you have to have that drag then bye bye. For what you do though it will be fine. Torsa and you''ll never look back (tommy

:stupid: if you do buy one this may be the way to go. Then again it may not work as well as you think it might  Let me know.

I would only use it for trolling or shark fishing. I am tempted to get the pair.
