IMO i would make it a weekend project and do it myself.. if all you are doing are the guides
its a no-brainer..
strip one guide out at a time and set them by using the other guides and just work them from
bottom to top till you are done..
I set mine with super glue till i'm ready to wrap... Trust me it isnt that hard to fix one
rod...
Google "Putting guides on a fishing rod" and you should get all kinds of sites to learn
from... plus by doing it this way
You can put some really nice guides on and not break the bank... and also keep your
rod
and if you take it slow they will come out pretty, but pretty and fishing don't go together
Hell the first ones i did look kinda of ugly... but they still catch fish

put the rod on it and just rotate as the line is wrapping around the guides..
