Thanks for the kind words, man. Hope to one day be able meet and fish with the boatlessfishing guys. Whenever I do get to fish down south I usually fish at anglins or dania piers. Keep a look out for the spiky haired Asian guy. Lol

At Anglins I might find you....At Dania it will be hard! :P

Good work on the rods. :toast: The Batson rod, how does it feel and how is the blank finish on it?

LMAO. So true, man. So true.

The Batson is nice and light. It's not as fast as I thought it would be. In terms of finish, I was somewhat disappointed. While I was flexcoating the guides I noticed six different places on the e-glass portion of the blank where the finish scratched off. It may have just been a bad blank because this is a first. Other Batson RCLB's I've wrapped haven't had this problem.

*LOL* :toast:

Just might be a bad blank you got as you said. Over all, have the customers or yourself been happy with these blanks? How heavy is it?

I personally fish the RCLB80XL, 80L, and 80M and have never had a problem with any of them. Others who I have wrapped RCLB's for like the action, weight, and price of the blanks. I use the ALPS guides, EVA grips, and graphite reel seats to keep the overall weight of the rod down.

Gotta say that your work is some of the cleanest, man! Just curious what kind of camera you use to photograph your work.
