In my continued efforts to un-"googan" myself, I recently returned some spinners that were purchased on impulse, lol. So now I want to save up for a good quality 2 rod bridge fishing set. Targeting primarely snappers but I wouldn't mind some flexibility for other species as well. After doing some research, here are my choices so far.

How would you pair these up?

Light Spinners 4-5000 level on 7-7'6" rod(for grovers, etc.):
1. Shimano Stradic
2. Shimano Spheros
3. Penn Battle

Castable conventionals on 8-9' rod(for muttons, etc):
1. Avec LX
2. Daiwa Saltist 40
3. Penn Jigmaster

Any input is greatly appreciated.

If you want I have a key largo custom 7ft 2inch rod with a penn battle 3000 with 20 braid. Both have been washed thouroughly after use. Battle still looks brand new. And I have a crowder 9ft bottom rod. I have a daiwa saltist 40 also but its only 6 out of 10 cosmetics. But works perfect so I mine as well keep that. But I would seel it to you for 275

Thanks for the offer. I'm not ready to purchase just yet, but I'll definately keep that in mind. Thanks for your response.

Well the penn battle is built better than both of those reels. And the 3000 size if not to big or small. Also a 7'6" would be nice but Im not sure if they make them with any beef. So a 7ft 12-20 would be good. And a 9ft rod is good around 50 pound rod to pull out bigger fish. And shimano torium 30, saltist 40, avet mxl or lx or penn 4/0 is good too.
