I would go somewhere around 7' to 8'

Like a
ST.Croix Model 3SW76MHF Length 7'6" Line class 10-20 Lure 1/2-1 1/4 Action FAST Spinning/Casting Butt .565 Tip 6 Weight 3.6 $135.00

or

the same type just different rating
ST. Croix Model 3SW76MLF Length 7'6" Line Class 6-12 Lure 1/8-1/2 Action FAST Spinning/Casting Butt .5 Tip 4 Weight 2.1 $120.00

Make sure you get a blank that is light if you wanna pitch all day.

there are many out there and these are just 2 suggestions.

8) Get an 8 Ft graphite with flex in the top 3rd of the blank. You'll be set. That will allow you beach , bridge, and pier fishing.

Another suggestion is the new seeker Hurcules blanks, just got 2 in for a build. One of them is the 15-30# and the other is 30-60#. Both are sweet rods. I absolutely loved building these rods and I am thinking about building one for me.

Don't think that is gonna handle too many upper slot reds, but nice rig for pomps and trout.
