Thinking of picking up a new reel for inshore use.. have a Stradic 3000 & 4000 FI matched to Star Plasma rods, and the size is perfect for my apps.

Looking into the new Stradic 3000 Ci4.. anyone have this reel in 2500/3000/4000 size .

Feedback appretiated.

My friend got the Stradic CI4300F a few weeks ago, same one your looking into and he loves it. I threw it when we were on the pier together and it is a super light carbon fiber (7.2oz) and super resposive. Even the 4400 their biggest model is 9.3oz because of the carbon alloy. Can't go wrong with a Shimano. He paired it with a G-lumis split grip 12 to 18 with 14lb Stren Sonic Braid and you can throw it all day. He landed a few macs and assorted other fish since he got it and the drag was smooth and the combo was great for inshore. I have 2-new Thunnus Ci4 and I have been a Shimano guy for years. I have a sustain 5000 also in addition to the Thunnus 1200 and 8000. The Stradic Ci4 is a great reel for the money. You won't go wrong with this series. IMHO
