what rod to get for a penn 4/0

Won on ebay a new in box penn 113 senator 4/0. What rod can i get to use for bridge fishing and deep sea fishing? What line should i put on it? Thanks

I might be trying out my penn slammer stand up this weekend with the same reel. ill let you know how it does

Thanks Strizle, I have an ugly stick spinning combo med action 10-25lb line cap. The reel that came with it is garbage, i struggled to bring in a peice of seaweed. Maybe i should test it out?

Will you be casting it on the bridges ? If so go with an 8 ft or so rod. 7 ft works for boats but 8 ft for bridges or casting.
