We have a good many rod builders here and also those with much to offer about reels, so if you need help with Rods-Reels- or Wrapping do it here

commercial and andrews... im more than willing to learn from you. i would be honored... its hard to make the marble look the same for every guide.

are you using the testors enamel??.......been dyin to try this since i saw some of the stuff pier-afficionado was workin on....hmm gunna have to pick some testors up...

did you pour off the clear before you added it to the epoxy?

yeah i used testor, poured most of the liquid out but still had some on the epoxy... made it run, in my opinion made it look better. i used a heatgun to make the colors run together. can't finish the rod ran out of epoxy.

ok sweet ill have to get some......heat gun?...is it that thick that a tooth pick isnt enough?......hmm that could be a problem for me, im not friendly with heatguns :D

toothpick will be fine, but i used white and green paint and when i used the heatgun it made the 2 colors mix, made a nice lightgreen and dark green contrast. the 1st guide i did was all dark green and white marble... not using the heat gun. alot easier to blend colors with heatgun.

Yup, . .It sure looks cooler with the additional white mixed in from the heat gun....Ever hear of any problems with cracking because of the different materials & thickness after time with a lot of bending??. . . SW :D

ive thought about that.....ive never done it so i duno but i would think it wouldnt be a problem because theres only a few drops of the coloring.....i think ud have more of a problem with color fade than anything else
