the rod is a spiral wrap the guides start at the top then twist around and exit the line out the bottom like a spinning rod.. takes all the torque out of the rod so no twisting.. andy at extreme rods made it for me i love it.

Great stuff, guys. Now THAT is what it is about here. That spiral wrapped rod- I have heard alot about those- had seen those at the Fla Sportsman show months ago but was having my doubts, but your pictures show me different- especially with those A.A. N.S. rollers. Again, great job! :thumleft:

The LX was able to put the brakes on those fish. Man now I feel overgunned having bought the 50w. Actually nawwwwww :lol:
