V-day Report ( no pix sorry)

didnt have a valentine this year so i spent my night fishin like n e guy with half a brain would .. am i right ..? hahaha the wind was pretty dead but it was conin out of the west just e nuf to trash bag a AJ head out. after about an hour had passed i got about a 3 sec hit. a few min after that i got a good run from him about 10 sec long. but as soon as i set the 12/0 in gear he stopped running. ( i was runnin 18/0 circles btw) so i let it sit and about 20 min passed. After that the rod started goin nutts. click click zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. I put it in gear and just pointed the rod tip right at him and let the hooks do their job. after a few head shakes I knew he was on and started crankin him in. after a few powerful runns and anout 20 min i had him... just under 8 ft it was pretty good for a sandbar shark at least 220 -240 ( if you follow the foot to weight chart in the taggin book for sandbars) got her tagged and cut the wire. had to walk her in about 10 feet gave her a push and off she swame. a good feeling comes over you as you see them swimm away. sent my info card in on the tag and that was that.... i had a girl on the beach tell me I made this the best Valentines day she has ever had. i thought it was funny because her boyfriends was with her and they had just got done with a very nice night out. and here i am . a stranger. smelling like a dead Aj was stealin the prize away fron this poor guy that just wanted to take his girl out on valentines day. hahaha well thats my report on v-day... sorry i dont have n e pix 4 you guys..
