We started the weekend on Thursday.. The water had a nice chop on it and we could see the tips just beyond the bar. A couple free-jumped just as we were prepaing our baits for deployment. We made a couple of drops and within 5 minutes we were hooked up on an acrobatic tip. It made 4 jumps and rolled up on the leader only to free itself in the surf. The other rod went off and we were hooked up again another acrobatic display was put on. several on-lookers came over to get a closer look. We put this one on the beach and took a few pics and sent her on her way. We rerigged and deployed 2 more baits. We didnt have to wait long and we were hooked up again. This one bolted out of the water and spun up in the leader, spit the hook. We caught a couple of rays that we used for bait throughout the weekend, but no more sharks. We had a great time on the water.
