Break out the big reels and large baits! (OK, just kidding)

But, you may not want to go swimming in the Atlantic for the next few days.

Was it Katherine that went after the diver, or possibly another White shark? The shark in the vid did look to be about 14' about Katherine size, and she may have been in the Vero Beach area last weekend. Wow, what are the chances.

14ft+ 2,300lbs white shark Katharine pinged in today! She is swimming southwest and offshore of the Marathon Florida Keys . Will she be going to the Gulf of Mexico to meet up with Betsy or Havana, Cuba? Check WWW.OCEARCH.ORG for near real time updates on Katharine's location [Powered by Cat Products] Key West, Florida Dry Tortugas National Park

Looked like a big cobia swimming with her in the video around 58sec. She was definitely interested and fortunately did not display aggressive posturing or movement.

Wow, I can't believe how close she came into the Bay. I always thought they stayed out in the Stream. I will be looking over my shoulder on that next snorkeling trip :nilly:

Main thing is to NOT show fear... That being said though, they KNOW they are one of the meanest animals on this planet, they can feel it on your heartbeat, and smell it, we secrete phermones when we are afraid, or even excited and believe you me, they pick up on these chemical trails... Should be fine though, make sure you ALWAYS face her and poke her if she comes too close, lets her know you have fight in you and are probably not an easy prey. I would not worry about when seeing her, it is when you DONT see her that I would be losing my mind.... :biglaugh:
