Sharks continue to be caught at Haulover.

Customers are as of Sunday night getting multiple hookups on sharks. A few big fish have been hooked and lost. Bonito has been the bait of choice either fresh or frozen thawed baits. Mullet have been moving both in and out of the inlet on the tide and the sharks are'nt far behind. Baits are being fished off ballons to keep the bottom feeders off the baits. I was told today by an expert that this is the time of year that Hammerheads are pupping in the inlet as this is the time of year that baby Hammerheads are sometimes caught while cast netting bait in and near the inlet.
