Herschel King Jr. Park (Palm Coast)

Went out yesterday afternoon for about 2 hrs. Fished at the boat dock and the little fishing pier they have on the ICW. The rain came just as I was leaving and the wind was blowing like crazy so I just stayed in the windbreaks around the dock. All in all, 7 whiting, 2 catfish.
I will have pics next time.

Hey whats going on , what were you using for bait? I tried fishing theeir once and caught nothing. I normally fish Varn Park, Marineland, and the Flagler fishing pier. I also have a gheenoe with a 9.9 hp motor but I need to fix the trailer wheels. Its really good for the flats on Pellicer Creek.

I was using frozen shrimp.
Actually went back this morning and caught a couple of mangrove snapper and some other type of fish that im trying to identify right now.

Turns out the other fish I caught was a sea robin.

Cool, I'll have to give that place a shot. I'll probably go try out Hershel King on Thursday or Friday before I hit up marineland depending on the conditions out there.
