The fishing in Galveston Tx has been slow to excellent. It all depends on the day and especially how high the wind is blowing. Spring is traditionally windy, but this spring has been one of the windiest I can remember. When the wind has been decent we have really done well, catching some nice trout and red fish, A few drum and flounder have also been showing up around certain shorelines. I have mainly been fishing in lower Galveston and West bay. I have been using live shrimp under a cork for best results. Most of the fish we are catching are very healthy and that is good for our future. I will post another report in a couple of weeks, so check back soon. Until next time, see you on the water.Capt.
