Are mole crabs (aka. Sand fleas) EDIBLE?!

I had a guy tell me that sand fleas were great to eat.

He batters and fries them.

I couldnt find much on the net about it.

Anyone here ever had any mole crab poppers? :shock:

I have after watching Andrew Zimmerman eat them on a show. They were ok. To me they taste like the spice I cooked them in. I did like the crunchy texture though.

they are really good with mayo no no jk.that thing dont have any meat .
