Can anyone tell me if ghost shrimp (aka mud shrimp) are available on the beaches of Melbourne Florida? I have heard some talk about them from the Pensacola/Gulf Coast fisherman and I see "little holes" all over the beaches on the tide line all the time...are these ghost shrimp?

Snapperman,
The ghost shrimp (Yabbies) I have caught were all on the estuary/river mud flats. Caught using a bait pump on holes in the mud. I suspect what you are seeing on the beach are sand fleas (mole crab).
