Would this be good enough to keep bait alive for a day keys trip in a 20 gallon white garbage can using the frozen bottle technique ?

As much as i'd like to think orherwise, i'm no master baiter. I have a very similar piece of equipment and i'll share my experiences:

You need to keep the outlet tube out of the water you're trying to aerate. I use a large cooler, filled about 3/4 qtrs up andthe top qtr has the outlet spraying the water towards the fishes. Not sure how you could do that witha round can since the outlet hose is hard plastic. Whatever you do, dont submerge thw outlet hose. Lots of dead bait made me realize.

The foam filter that mine came with was junk. It kept getting stuck in the fan. Lotsof dead bait.

Its heavy. Battery plus cooler. Have a big cart to lig it all around.
The battery connectors will corrode quickly. Get a battery box to help keep the elements out.

Get past this and it works beautifully. Keeps my 50qt cooler stocked with bait that will easily last the day (25-35 has been consistently successful for me). You'll still need to change the water out every couple of hours.

If i think of anything else i'll be sure to let you know.
