Tryed to bring a big king in too fast and pulled the hooks. I wanted to believe it was a huge tuna. lol. Love the accurate, hope i can catch something soon that will justify me getting another one. Also the area on the sideplate that say no oil is plastic? hmmmmm cutting corners

I have all the Accurate reels. The only one I do not have is the 130 and recently sold the Twin Spin 12 to Rebel.

It was probably your hook. The hook was too strong and rip it out of the fish mouth. Try Mustad, as their hook are not a strong compare to Owners and Gamakatsu.

When I hook up to a fish they usually give up. They know they can't out run my Accurate.

I heard avets are better

I had 3 Avets and will never own one again . They did not hold up to any hard core usage at all. All 3 died after a year or so.

i know what you mean. not last christmas but the one before that, a lot of the dfp rats got avets and i cant think of one that still works (well) or that hasnt had a problem. they get really rough and the drag gets sticky

screw owner hooks they suck i bent them snaped them and every lil thing with them they suck me and nick123 have snaped them on tarpon and big macks all the time.

Funny, they work for me. You probably had a bad batch or you guys set the hook like a beast.

VMC used to have a triple barbed hook that was the shiat, i hav'nt seen them in years. But they were the best small snapper hook IMO

VMC suck for hooks. Fishnfool put one and a Black straighten. I personally think he did that on purpose to me.

almost everyone i have used messed up on me and we only do bill dance set ups on needlefish haha.
