20" hog snapper

my first hog Caught in the keys on 3/22/08 on a abu garcia 504 spinning reel on a 6'6' custom rod he ate a live strimp on a #2 hook with a 1ft 15lb leader was in biaha honda state park

Nice fish.

To me 2nd best eating in the ocean,with snook being # 1.

nice fish. never had snook so for me hog is #1!!!!!

That made me change my mind.Although i like them, but i just can't eat fish with their head stilll attached......just something about it.

best meat is what it comes out close to the head and especially from the cheeks, big fishes obviously
