MD section of Susquehanna River. Smallmouth Bass caught with Black or yellow 3/8th Doll Fly's.

Some nice Bass there. How far back were these taken?

James,
My guess would be 50 years.....I might be off a year or 2.
As I said in an earlier post.....he has forgotten more about fishing than I will ever know.

Yes James, that was a long time ago, like in the 70's. I'm an old man now. Still fishing after all these years. This is a pertty neat fishing site. Glad (helm) told me about it.

I fish the susquehana river all the time its 30 min ride from my house. It dumps more fresh water into the chesdapeake bay then all the other rivers and streams on the chesapeake bay watershed combined. It holds great population of smallmouth. But large ones like them photos are rarely seen anymore. It gets loaded with striped bass tho. its a main breeding location for east coast stripers.
