Backyard Peacocks

Post by Pondhopper325 »

I imported (stole borrowed how ever you want to phrase it)these from a local lake about 10 years ago with a home made live well and they are still doing well.

The reel is one the neighbor threw away I cleaned it and have been fishing it for over 10 years and the rod Walmart Berkley special $22.00 gotta love it.

One of the cheapest combos I put together, work like one of my high dollar combos.

The 1st pic the brighter of the two weighed 3 1/2 on the Bogas, very skinny no belly should have weighed at least 2 lbs more. Alot bigger than the other body size but no mass.
the darker on weighed 4 lbs on the Bogas

Not bad for my little backyard pond in Davie :reeling:

Thanks for lookin

I think that might be borderline illegal to transport and stock.. at least permit required. Are you sure they just did show up there, bird flew by and maybe dropped one or two in your pond.

My nephews first fish

Post by Dandle22 »

I took my nephew fishing in a pond by his house and he caught his first fish. Somebody's got to teach the kid.

I don't know Nessa he looks a little taller than your current B/F or his best friend  You sure you can handle a taller guy.
Dreaming the dream that one day I can be as good as some of the boatless pros and catch some 12 inch mangrove snapper.
