86" long Jewfish.

Post by captken »

One of my clients caught this one. We were fishing on a ledge that broke from 15' down to 24'. The day before this JF took a 30# Cobia that a client had hooked. I went back the next day and baited with a live 10# Jck Crevalle. I cut the lobes of the Jack's tail so he was slowed up a bunch.

The Jewfish took the Jack before it reached the bottom.

The rig is a 9/0 senator rigged with 550# test parachute cord.

If anybody is interested I'll post a link to several Jewfish videos we've shot aboard my boat.

Life is too short to catch little fish.
