The permit in Lake worth start running heavy in April and May. In my opinion those are the best two months and of course on full moons and out going tides at the inlet, but most of mine were caught in the middle of the summer due to school and nice fish raul. I need to figure out how to post bigger pics

sounds great raul, i am not going to be living in Lake worth anymore,,,, i will be living in venice area, but i will frequent the keys once again and cannot wait. I am having a little girl in april and we are moving in May so things will be crazy for a few months, but i am not planning on working for a while so i will find some free time and we should go hit up the keys... i have tons of crab traps, nets, gaffs, rods, and patience so lets do it. P.S. is there a many in the keys by the name of Hammer? i dotn know his real name, but when i was younger i would live on the 7 mile bridge and fish with him and his boys all the time. :reeling:

You guys are killing me with those Permit.
I have yet to even see one out in the "wild".
I'm dying to catch one on the flats.
I have tried going out to look for some while bonefishing in between tides with no luck.

But I have no clue how to find them, what their patterns are or anything.
