Caught my first Bonita today at Lake worth at around 1:00p.m. on a live gog, caught him on my new penn battle, put up one hell of a fight it was awesome

The bite isnt crazy but its not bad there were like 7 or eight bonitas caught from like 10 to 3, If you can get a spot to cast your line at the end of the pier you'll catch one.

My first was at Dania Pier, weighed it at that tackle shop on Dania Blvd, 25lbs! That's at the State record class but nobody knew what it was at the time. The guy in the shop thought it was a baby bluefin tuna, lol. :nilly:

Pound for pound, these are the hardest fighting of fish, that one nearly spooled me.

PS: I made the mistake of eating it... never again! :shaking2:
