Key west shore fishing

I'm looking for a off road secluded spot that I could fish from shore that would take a 4x4 to get to. Anybody know a place like this?

There are only a few places from land they yoyu are allowed to fish from and none require a 4x4. Not a lot of people fish down there though.

White Street pier is a popular local spot but is shallow. The rocks at Fort Taylor hold fish and is deep. I have seen big mangroves keeper muttons and ytail caught here along with rumors of keeper black grouper and kingfish. On the weekends though their will be a lot of boat traffic. Mallory Square is another spot that holds fish.

I just moved to Key West I'm looking for a spot where I could drink lots of beer play my music and have a bonfire and not be bothered

not sure the laws on bonfires down there but up here its a big NO NO..

You now why girls in the key west don't wear skirts??

Try the navy air base on Boca Chica. You may have to cut a few strands of barb wire to get in, but once you're in, you're golden. If a Humvee full of MP's with M-16's says anything, tell them you know Gruntking.
