Greetings Fellow Anglers!

Post by saltyrob1982 »

Hi there. The name's Robin, you can call me Rob for short. I'm from the Miami area and love to fish the shorelines, piers, and jetties! Long story short, I signed up a while back and lurked for a while, but decided to come on out and chat with fellow anglers, and bask ourselves in this wonderful addiction called FISHING.

Hope to receive insight from the vets here and share some fish reports with you guys. Tight lines and screaming drags!!

Rob.

Welcome to the forum. I really can't give you much advise on the Miami area. There are a lot of guys on here that know the area well though. :reeling: :reeling: :reeling:

Depends on what youre looking to catch and the season we're in...but pretty much, snook, poons, ladyfish, snapper, trout, jacks, ladyfish are here year round..pompano, bluefish, sheepshead, macks are seasonal.

@gdm No haven't gotten a greeting yet.

@snapperfanatic: the pelagics should be starting to head back north now imo. How I miss the days of the mullet run! Haven't really caught much in the last few weeks except a few grovers and grunts lol, the bluefish and Spanish macks have eluded me!

Once again thanks for the welcome fellow anglers!
