Hallo all

My name is Lars Henriksen, From Odense, Denmark. Im 43 years n I'm a social worker, helping families in need to get a better life. My big passion is flyfishing n river conservation n fishing politics. i use a lot of my spare time lobbying for better condition for fishing in Denmark n river conservation with school kids for education. Denmarks no 1 fishing form is coastal fishing for sea run brown trout, salmo trutta. WE have a lot of small rivers with access to the baltic sea with ideal condition for sea run brown trout. its about 50-50 with fly n spinning on the danish coasts. There about 200000 active anglers in denmark out of 5 million people. 500000 fish a least once a year. The sea trout as we call it, can be caught all years round in all conditions. Our tide only vary about 1 yard in the baltic sea so you can also fish any time a day. i have around 50-70 fishing days a year. The sea trout we catch is all from 30 cm to 90 cm. The biggest over 20 pounds. Fun on a fly rod. My record is 15 pounds, 81 cm. The reason for my profile, on a site, more than 3000 miles away is simple. Im going to florida in feb 15 with my wife n my boy 7 yrs old. 4 days orlando, 8 days fort myers n 4 days islamorada. yihaaa. can't wait. If i safe as crazy, i can afford maybe 1 day with a guide in a boat. Maybe some thoughts from u guys where n with who. But far more important I'm a coastal flyfisher n i need information on fishing locations, tides, condition, time of day etc. Hope u will help me. even a local fishing partner for a morning somewhere from the coast would be incredible exchanging world wide fishing stories n of course catching some fish.

i know I'm out a bit early, but I'm just so exited about the vacation of our dreams, n my wife know that i can't help myself with my flyfishing. she has her shopping in the outlets lol, my son disney world, n me fishing in florida, one of the best fishing spots in the world, wow I'm lucky. We have saved for a long time n it will be a dream come true for all of us. I know that april- may would have been better, but i lost that one to my wife. .she wants to get away from the winter weather in northern europe. One thing i know for sure is that research n local help will increase me catching fish considerably.
