New to pier fishing
I will be fishing pier mid November. What are prominent fish then? Any info re rigging, baits , tackle would be appreciated. That's a huge question but anything will be helpful. Where can live shrimp be purchased? Can sand fleas be found along the beach there? Thanks, Myeyes.

live shrimp can be purchased at atlantic bait and tackle or anglers which is signif further away but the people are more friendly. there shud prob b some pompano around then, for that i use long (9-12ft) surf rod with a 2 loop dropper rig (i forget what its called mayb chicken rig) with a pyrmid weight 5 or 6 oz on the bottom attached to a swivel clip. live sand fleas work best for me. you can usually buy them frozen though which also work. clams and fresh shrimp they say works too. or u can use a pompano jig for them with a 7ish ft lighter rod. i use a 3000 stradic, with mainline of like 15 or 20lb. There should also be some macs which like shiny silver hard stuff, crapy jigs, cut bait and all kinds of live bait fish.
