I'll start by saying Hello. First time here.

Decided to visit family for mothers day week And see if I could get some fishing in.

Problem is, I only have a catfish pole with a spincaster & 30lb line on it, anyone have any advice for someone in the Odessa area? Pasco County? I was just going to stop by a tackle shop grab a shore license for a couple days and some bait and see what I could catch at clearwater pier maybe.

A friend made a request and I'd like to at least leave a week from now having caught something.
