Headed to David, Panama in 2 weeks!!!!

My wife and I will be headed to Panama for our honeymoon and I'm planning on doing some fishing....and she's good with that. (I'm a pretty lucky guy!!!) We plan to do a charter at some point, but I'm always looking to fish on my own anywhere I can find water that even looks like there will be fish.

Anyone have any advice about the David area in Panama???? or places within a short drive????

I hate to send you to another site for information but try 360tuna.com I doubt if there are 3 guys on this forum that have fished Panama. 360 has a little more global group.

Only one place to go fishing from David, that is to Hannibal Bank, personally fished from David area for over a week Hannibal Banks is some of the best Yellowfin Tuna grounds in the world. There is a bunch of center console boats from David that fish the banks I will look up the information tonight.

This place is a short drive from David. And known as one of the best lodges for fishing I would ask them if they do a day trip.
