Old Surf Fisherman needs to learn new tricks for Piers

Hi - name is Sarge, DAV always looking for a little fishing time. Would like to find seasoned Florida angler around Ft Lauderdale for info and guidance. I got the goods now I just need to find the fish!
Any help greatly appreciated.

PS - Anglins is close by, but prefer free piers where parking won't break the bank.
